DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
The centre runs for 24 hours daily. The out patient Department closes when the day’s consultations are over. The Accident and Emergency unit remains all emergency cases that come to the centre after close of work.
As part of the University’s community services, we also receive and attend to patients from the surrounding communities.
We have a team of dedicated staff who place service above self and this has helped the centre to offer quality service to the University community. We are working to expand our services and replace our obsolete equipments with modern ones. We are hoping that in the near future, the medical centre will be a referral centre for all the hospitals within this area of the state. We are operating fully the NHIS programme for staff and the TISHIP programme for students.
